Dietary Guest Meals

Guest Meals
Residents who wish to entertain guests for meals should contact the Dietary Department at least three (3) hours before mealtime to make arrangements for these meals.  The number of guests who may be served is limited to four (4), due to limited quantities of food prepared. Dietary will limit the number of total guests depending on food availability. Meals are available only to quests of residents; the purpose is to allow resident the pleasure of entertaining in their own home.  Resident and guest may be served in the Dining Room, if space allows, otherwise will be served in the Library, Day Room or resident room.

Pricing

• Breakfast          $5.50

• Dinner               $6.50 (Noon Meal)

• Supper              $5.50

There will be a charge of $12.00 for meals on designated LMH Holidays, they are as follows:

• New Year's Day

• Easter

• Memorial Day

• Fourth of July

• Labor Day

• Thanksgiving Day

• Christmas Eve (supper)

• Christmas Day

The guest limit remains in effect on these days. Dietary Department must be notified at least one (1) week prior to the holiday.

Also, available to residents and guests is the chapel and picnic shelter.  These may be needed for family birthday parties, anniversaries, etc. The rooms are arranged through Activities. Dietary will provide cups, coffee, napkins, disposable silverware, plates, etc. 

Activities will be informed and will arrange a room, if available, set up the table and chairs, table cloth, and centerpiece.  Dietary will prepare and serve the  food.  Guests will be served a regular diet unless a special diet is specified. Dietary and Activities will clean up after the meal.
