Visitation Guidelines – Phase II

- Visitation may now begin at scheduled intervals INDOORS, with only one visitor per resident at a time. Adherence to universal source control (Mask, temperature & screening log) is still necessary.

  • It is preferable that all visitations be scheduled in advance with the Luther Memorial Home Social Services/Reception Staff
    • Please call ahead of time to ensure availability.
    • Preferably, please call a day in advance so that we can ensure your requested time is available
  • Please remember your mask for every visit – hand hygiene must be conducted as soon as you enter the facility to screen.
  • No indoor visitation allowed during meal times or snack times due to the requirement for mask wearing during your entire visit.
  • Please try to limit your visits to up to 1 hour. Remember, the longer the visit, the less likely that social distancing and mask wearing will be followed by many of our residents.
  • Indoor visitation requirements:
    • Mask must be worn at all times – hand hygiene completed.
    • Visits will be conducted in the resident’s room.
    • No wandering from the room allowed.
    • Social distance at all times during the visit.
    • No physical contact allowed with the resident or employees
      • No hugging, kissing and/or touching.
    • Indoor visits are limited to one visitor per resident.
  • Indoor Visiting Hours are:
    • Monday thru Friday:9am – 11am, 1pm – 5pm and 6pm-7pm
    • Saturday and Sunday: 9am – 11am, 3pm – 5pm

- Scheduled outdoor visitation may also continue as it did in Phase 1.

  • Outdoor Visiting hours remain the same:
    • Please contact the Activities department to arrange your outdoor visit.

We are excited to have the opportunity to have family and guests back in our facility – we know this will provide a great amount of joy and satisfaction for our residents.

As the health and safety of our residents and staff remain our number one priority, if the above listed guidelines are not followed, your visitation rights will be revoked. We will remain in phase 2 until determined by the Dept of Human Services when we can move to phase 3.
